Category: Internet, News
GMAIL is Google’s free webmail service which comes with built-in Google search technology and over 2.8gb in storage (It is growing everyday). GMAIL has also integrates intant messaging (Google Talk), so you can keep in touch with your friends while you’re online (now thats a brilliant idea to keep users to stay online, isn’t it?). This is all that we already know about GMAIL.
The good news is that Gmail has upgraded the allowed attachment size in GMAIL from 10mb to 20mb. Now you can start sharing more of your video clips, presentations and files that you just can’t zip any smaller. With this doubled attachment size, GMAIL space is even more useful.
GMAIL account used to be “by invitation only” basis but now you may ask your friends to visit www.gmail.com and sign up without an invitation or send them one.

Wordpress PlugInstaller
Category: Internet, News, Software, Wordpress
This is a cool plugin that i came across while looking for Wordpress Plugin. This plugin allows you to uninstall your plugin, display readme file after installation and of those already installed plugin.
PlugInstaller is a WordPress plugin-management plugin that eliminates the need to download a plugin archive, upload it to your FTP server and unpack it manually. With PlugInstaller, you can easily enter a plugin URL (e.g. directly from a plugin repository website like the WordPress.org plugin repository) within the admin interface which is in turn automatically downloaded and installed on your server or you can upload a file from your local file system which is also automatically installed. If you do no longer like one or more plugins that you previously installed, you can uninstall those plugins with a single click.

Wordpress 2.2 Released
Category: Internet, News, Software, Wordpress
Wordpress version 2.2 has been released. This version includes a number of new features, most notably Widgets integration, and over two hundred bug fixes. The features are as below :-
- WordPress Widgets allow you to easily rearrange and customize areas of your weblog (usually sidebars) with drag-and-drop simplicity. This functionality was originally available as a plugin Widgets are now included by default in the core code, significantly cleaned up, and enabled for the default themes.
- Full Atom support, including updating our Atom feeds to use the 1.0 standard spec and including an implementation of the Atom Publishing API to complement our XML-RPC interface.
- A new Blogger importer that is able to handle the latest version of Google’s Blogger product and seamlessly import posts and comments without any user interaction beyond entering your login.
- Infinite comment stream, meaning that on your Edit Comments page when you delete or spam a comment using the AJAX links under each comment it will bring in another comment in the background so you always have 20 items on the page. (I know it sounds geeky, but try it!)
